The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Women Affairs and Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative in the state, Dr. Seun Osamaye, has commended the management and staff of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development for their dedication and support during two major recent events hosted by the ministry.
Dr. Osamaye addressed the staff during a meeting held at the ministry’s headquarters, which commenced with a session of praise and worship.
The meeting was part of the post-event activities following the two-day visit of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and National Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to Ondo State.
In her address, Dr. Osamaye noted that the gathering was organised to evaluate the ministry’s performance during the International Women’s Day celebration and the First Lady’s official visit.
She expressed gratitude to the management and staff for their tireless efforts, emphasising that the success recorded during both events was a direct result of their collective commitment and cooperation.
She, however, urged staff members to rededicate themselves to their duties, noting that commitment and dedication would continue to be recognised and rewarded.
Earlier, the Administrative Secretary of the ministry, Mrs. Oluseyi Odusola, welcomed all staff to the meeting. She encouraged them to implement the advice and feedback shared by the Special Adviser, stressing that teamwork and unity were essential for the ministry’s continued success.
Odusola described the meeting as a timely opportunity to reflect on past activities and strategise for better achievements in the future.
The meeting was attended by all directors, heads of departments, and the entire staff of the ministry.
