OSCCIMA gets first female president

Ondo State Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (OSCCIMA) has produced the first Female President since its establishment.
Mrs Modupe Olakunle from Owo Chamber was returned unopposed at the 2019 Annual General Meeting held in Akure, the state capital.
In her acceptance speech, Olakunle promised not to betray the confidence reposed in her while assuring of the development and growth of the small and medium enterprises .
She said her leadership will be committed to effective collaboration with national Chambers of NACCIMA and Regional Odua and would partner other organs of the private sector wards including the state government to creating proper and enduring programmes for the industrialization of the state.
Earlier, the immediate past President of the chamber, Oba David Adebawore described the new president as a rare gem and an industrial woman who will not let down her city chamber and the state at large.
Adebawore urged the Federal Government to reposition the empowerment facilities for the benefit of the generality of the citizens charging the beneficiaries to pay back accordingly.
