The newly confirmed General Manager of Ondo State Sports Council OSSC, Mr Sunday Fagite has promised to make athletes welfare his priority.

Fagite until his elevation to the position of General Manager was Director of Coaches in the council.

The former Director of coaches in a chat with Sporting Hope said he will ensure there is unity of purpose among the staff to enable them take sports development to the next level.

He added that he would work with other management staff to ensure more talents are discovered across the state.

According to him, we are going to discover budding talents from the grassroots, we will charge the zonal coaches to hunt for more talents in their respective zones.

 This year is a National Sports Festival and National Youth Games so we are are going into work immediately to enable us break previous records in terms of performance.
