General Manager of Ondo State Sports Council, Mr Henry Babatunde has endorsed 15th edition of Tubaba Football Scouting Academy Network, Nigeria, tagged “Adu Cubana Unity Competition” as the tourney kicks off Friday.
The General Manager of the Sports Council gave the endorsement during his unveiling as lover of grassroots sports development in Ondo State, for always supporting the competition since the first edition 15 years ago.
The General Manager assured the organisers of his support, saying he is a lover of grassroots sports development.
The organiser and the Chairman of the local Organising Committee, Comrade Ayokunle Oluwatope and Raymond Abdulsalam said Mr Olumuyiwa Adu will sponsor the 15th edition of the competition.
The draws for the 15th edition of the competition tagged: 2023 Adu Cubana Unity Cup, will be held at the Ijapo Royal Birds, Akure.
The draws will see former Sunshine Stars Technical Adviser, Henry Abiodun taking the participants through the topic: “Grassroot Football Performance The Way Forward”.
Comrade Ayokunle Oluwatope said the 2023 Competition will be a departure from the previous editions.
He added that the participating amateur teams will be given crested pair of jersey for the competition, while U-13 ,U-15 will get a ball match.
