One the cardinal points of Osun State government, under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke, is to build an enviable standard of education for the future generation.

The Secretary, Osun State Universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Yahaya Bakare stated this during a Jolly Phonics training Workshop for selected teachers across Osun State.

Bakare vouched that if the workshop is appropriately applied and implemented to the pupils in their various schools, it will yield fruitful results by increasing the school learners’ literacy skills and enhancing their academics performance at large.

He then charged the jolly phonics teachers to cascade the knowledge acquired at the training workshop to their colleagues in their various schools for the attainment of overall desired goals.

Speaking further, Mr. Bakare enjoined all Primary School Teachers across the state to complement the present administration in its quest to reposition the state’s education sector by doing their work diligently.

The Osun SUBEB Secretary, therefore, urged the participants to support the development of the State education sector through efficient delivery of knowledge gained at the training Workshop.
