Osun Amotekun arrests serial burglar

Men of the Osun Amotekun Corps have arrested a 37-year-old man, Sola Ajibade, for allegedly breaking into a house at Ode-Omu area of the state.
The suspect who hails from Ibadan, Oyo, was also alleged of stealing a 32-inch Plasma TV in the resident.
According to the corps, Ajibade specialises in burglary and stealing in the area before nemesis caught up with him.
He was apprehended by men of Amotekun at Ode-Omu area of the state after a tip-off.
Confirming the arrest to newsmen in Osogbo, Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi, said the suspect was arrested at Ode-Omu, where he burgled a house and stole a Plasma 32 inch TV.
He said, “A complaint was lodged at Irewole Area Command on the activities of the suspect. The operatives swung into action immediately and apprehended the culprit.
“During investigation, the suspect confessed to committing the act and that he is a serial burglar He said he always sells stolen items at Mokola, Ibadan.”
Adewimbi said the suspect has been handed over to the police for subsequent interrogation and prosecution.
