The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Omoyele Isaac Adekunle, has affirmed the agency’s commitment to ensuring sustainable peace and development in the state.

He emphasised that meaningful development is impossible in an atmosphere of insecurity, highlighting the importance of doubling efforts to maintain surveillance across all nooks and crannies of the state.

To this end, the agency will continue deploying its personnel to identified black spots to ensure criminals have no safe haven.

He warned individuals with dubious intentions to reconsider their actions or face the full weight of the law.

In a congratulatory message to Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his second anniversary in office, Omoyele stated that the unwavering support the agency has received from the government has significantly contributed to achieving peace in the state.

He acknowledged that Governor Adeleke’s administration has prioritised security, leading to remarkable strides in maintaining law and order.

Omoyele pledged the agency’s determination to sustain the existing peace in the state.

The Commander commended Governor Adeleke for his tireless efforts to improve security, noting that these efforts have fostered a peaceful environment.

He praised the Governor’s policies, which have prioritised the welfare and prosperity of all citizens.

Omoyele highlighted the Governor’s achievements in enhancing security, which have resulted in the current peace enjoyed in the state.

He specifically acknowledged the Governor’s support for the Osun Amotekun Corps, which has been instrumental in maintaining law and order.

The Corps Commander assured Governor Adeleke of the Amotekun Corps’ continued cooperation and support in all efforts to strengthen security and peace across Osun.

“Governor Adeleke’s two years in office have been characterised by grace, growth, and remarkable progress. His leadership has inspired hope, unity, and development across the state. His dedication to advancing Osun’s development agenda has brought about transformative changes that will be felt for generations,” Omoyele said.

He also lauded the Governor’s inclusive approach to governance, describing Adeleke’s administration as a beacon of transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the people’s needs.

As Governor Adeleke marks this milestone, Omoyele expressed confidence that the next phase of his administration would build upon the solid foundation laid during the first two years.

He pledged the unwavering support of the Osun Amotekun Corps in the Governor’s quest to deliver on his promises to the people of Osun State.
