Osun Assembly reiterates commitment to security

The Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Timothy Owoeye has expressed the readiness of the Assembly to support the security agencies in the state to further enhance the protection of lives and property.
Owoeye gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to the State Commissioner of Police Mrs Abiodun Ige in Osogbo.
According to the speaker, the visit was to maintain and create a harmonious and mutual relationship between the legislative arm and the security agents in the state.
While commending them for their support towards the success of the last administration, he urged them to extend the same gesture to the present government under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Speaking with activity journalists after the closed-door meeting, Owoeye assured the good people of the state on the lawmakers’ readiness to support the executive in ensuring optimum security and maintenance of peace in the state
He further appealed to the citizens to notify the security agents the needed information on any strange activities in their environment and be supportive to the security personnel to ensure a smooth and peaceful environment in the state.
