Osun guber verdict: APC goes spiritual

As the citizens and residents of Osun State await the final verdict of the 2018 Governorship election at the apex court, the state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Gboyega Famodun, has called for ceaseless prayers for the party to sustain its administration in the state.

Famodun who spoke through his Media Consultant, Mr Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo said, though he was aware that series of prayers are being held by the progressives stakeholders within the nooks and crannies of the state, he said, it could never be too much.

He stated that having done everything legally allowed by the law to plead the case of his party and the incumbent governor at the Supreme Court, other supernaturally hidden principalities invoked by the opposition could only be fought squarely with ceaseless prayers.

He said, he knows the importance and efficacy of prayers as the foundation of life is based on prayers.

The party chairman disclosed that he is privy to the degree of likely devilish intention of the handlers of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) who can go to any diabolical extent to want to reap where they did not sow.

Famodun stated that he has made a covenant with his creator not to undermine the powers of prayers, adding that those who know him would attest to the fact that he doesn’t fail to recommend prayers for settlement of any knotty issues.

He stressed that the combination of merit and prayers are potent tools that would enhance the victory of the party at the Supreme Court.

“I wholeheartedly support prayers to fight our ongoing governorship litigation, the judgment of which is being expected in our favour on Friday. “Prayers are the necessary desirable instruments we need to neutralise the fetish powers of the reactionary elements.

“I have been observing the series of interdenominational prayer sessions being organised and sponsored by subsets of our party for the success of Governor Gboyega Oyetola at the Supreme Court.

“When we cap the good case we are having with ceaseless prayers, one needs no intervention of  rocket science to know that the result will be in our favour”, Famodun submitted.
