Osun NSCDC nabs middle aged man for fraud, impersonation

The operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command have arrested a-40 – year – old Man, Awolumate Bola of Oke Abesu area in Osogbo, the Osun State capital for allegedly involving in advance fee fraud and obtaining money under false pretense.

The suspect was also alleged of impersonating as immigration officer to dupe innocent victims.

 The suspect according to the NSCDC boss, Agboola Adisa Sunday was arrested by four members of the public who lodged a complaint that borders the above mentioned offenses on the 25th July, 2022.

The Suspect was paraded at the NSCDC State Headquarters by Commandant Agboola Sunday before newsmen.

He told reporters that the suspect made a confessional statement confirming his culpability in the offenses alleged to have been committed.

The Suspect Awolumate Bola confessed to have impersonated as an officer of the Nigerian Immigration.

He was also alleged to have under the pretext of being an immigration officer collected the sum of five hundred and seventy thousand naira (#570, 000) from the four complainants with a promise to secure visa to Norway and Saudi Arabia.

 The suspect according Commandant promised to secure employment for one of the complainants.
