The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Osun State chapter has decried the low turn-out of voters at the House of Assembly election in the state.

The state chairman of the party, Mr Soji Adagunodo disclosed this in his home town in Ilowa in Obokun Local Government Area of the state on Saturday.

He said the turn-out of voters was not impressive when compared to the turn-out during the Presidential and National Assembly elections two weeks ago.

Adagunodo noted that the voters apathy might be due to the fact that there was no governorship election in the state.

“The turnout of voters is very low. Although it is normal since there is no governorship election in the state.

“But all the same, the turn-out of voters is still reasonable”, Adagunodo said.

The PDP chairman, however, commended the electorate for their peaceful conduct.
