A new acting Police Public Relations Officer has been posted to Osun State Police Command and has resumed duty.

He is SP Adeoye Akeem Adeola, Anipr

The new PPRO took over from CSP Opalola Yemisi Olawoyin, who has been transferred to Force Headquarters, Abuja.

A statement by the outgone Osun Police Spokesperson ,CSP Yemisi Opalola said the new PPRO obtained B.Sc in Political Science from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile- Ife in Osun state

He was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force in December 2016 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

SP Adeoye untill his appointment was the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 17 Akure, Ondo State before he was posted to Osun Command.

However in a brief chat with our correspondent the new police spokesman said he solicited the corporation of all and sundry especially journalists in order to succeed in his primary assignment.

He said his office is open for all to pass useful information that will help in solving crime related issues happening in the state .
