Osun Poly assures safety after cult clash, says no life lost

The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has said that no life was lost during rivalry cult clash in the institution on Tuesday.
Some rival cult groups were alleged to have reportedly clash following issue that were yet to be extablished.
The institution Registrar Officer, Mr Abiodun Oloyede in a statement urged parents and guardian not to panic as everything has been brought under control
“There is nothing to fear by the parents and guardians of students of the institution over a conflict that ensued between two rival cult groups of students in the Institution on Tuesday,
“Our students and campus are safe, calm, normal administrative and academic activities are in progress. Students are going on with their lectures and other academic engagements , while staffers are going about their administrative duties”, Oloyede assured
The Registrar also noted that the Anti- Cultism Squad of the Nigeria Police and other Security operatives are fully on ground to forestall any suspected crisis.
The statement further urged parents and guardians not to entertain any fear, saying there is no cause for alarm.
Also, the two students who were said to have sustained minor injuries have been discharged after they were treated in the institition’s clinic.
