Osun United, Babes get new management

Osun State Government is not leaving any stone unturned to make the sporting industry attain greater heights.
To achieve this dream, it has reconstituted the management committees for both Osun United Football Club and Osun Babes Football Club.
While carrying out the inauguration, government says it is a good omen perceived as one of the ways to turn around the fortune of the Osun sporting industry for good.
The state Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi who also doubles as the Commissioner for Sports made this known while reconstituting the managements of the two state owned football clubs.
According to him, the move is to further enhance the viability of the clubs, in order to drive them for optimum performance, so as to be able to compete effectively with their counterparts ,not only in Nigeria, but globally.
Accordingly ,the Deputy Governor announced the names of the chairmen and officers of the newly reconstituted management committees for both teams to include the following;
Osun United Football Club
(i) Akin Maxwell – Chairman
(ii) Abimbola Rufus – Community Relations Manager
(iii) Femi Okenla – Marketing & Communication
(vi) Kabiru Adekunle – Team Manager
(v) Oyewole Opeyemi – Secretary.
Osun Babes Football Club
(i) Mrs. Tola Usman – Chairperson
(ii) Wole Animasahun – Team Manager
(iii) Mrs. Ronke Ogunbanwo – Secretary
Osun State Coaches
(1) Seye Ajayi – Chief Coach
(2) Sina Afolabi – Assistant Coach I
(3) Waheed Olapade – Assistant Coach II
(4) Lateef Yusuf – Goalkeeper Coach
(5) Seyi Akanni – Medical Officer
(6) Akeem Adebayo Megba – Welfare Officer.
