Other elected officers include Dunmade Durojaiye as Treasurer, Sanya Fadipe as Spokesman, Osu Babarinde as Financial Secretary, and Samuel Adeyekun as the new Welfare Officer.

In his acceptance speech at the swearing-in ceremony, the newly elected Chairman, Smolette Adetoyese Shittu-Alamu, pledged to lead a transparent administration that would promote inclusiveness, direction, and accountability.

Shittu-Alamu, who previously served as the Spokesman of the League, assured that his leadership would uphold the agenda-setting role, which remains a fundamental responsibility of the journalism profession.
