OSUSTECH matriculates 1,400 students

Over 1,400 students have been matriculated by the Ondo State University of Science and Technology, (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor of the institution , Prof. Sunday Ogunduyile charged the students to get their priorities right and focus on building their future and to jealously guide and maintain the reputation of the University.
He warned them to abide by the rules and regulations of the University, noting that the Senate of the Institution will not hesitate to invoke relevant sections of the law against any student who involve in any social vice.
‘’I admonish you all to face your studies squarely so that you can make your parents and guardians proud. ”
”We have an enviable array of academic staff to impart knowledge into you, I advise you to cooperate with them and shun all forms of anti- social vices, ” he said.
Congratulating the students for scaling through the rigorous selection process of admission into the University, Ogunduyile thanked the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for the immeasurable goodwill, attention and patronage the University has received.
He specifically appreciated the Governor for the capital grant and efforts towards ensuring that the university tap into Tetfund intervention.
Speaking with The Hope, some of the new students expressed their joy.
