The People’s Democratic Party, PDP Ondo State chapter has said that its members that defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, will be disappointed.
The State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr. Kennedy Peretei, disclosed this while reacting to the position of the ruling APC which said it has no fewer than 54 years to go on the “first tranche”
He noted that the 2023 general elections would be the exit and the end of the APC in the country.
Peretei explained that the APC and its leadership have consistently demonstrated lack of idea about governance for it to be reelected in 2023.
“If such government that Nigerians are enduring towards the end of its tenure in 2023 can say this, it means it has said nothing but joke.
“The PDP spent 16 years in government with record of laudable achievements. The APC should pack and exit governance without achievement ” he said
The PDP, he affirmed has laid good foundation to build on if given opportunity to rule the country again.
While recalling the PDP members which include former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, the Presidential candidate of the party in 2019, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and former member of National Assembly , Senator Dino Melaye who defected to the APC ahead of 2015 general elections realised their mistakes after being deceived by the APC-led Federal Government.
