Leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo South Senatorial District have vowed to work for  victory of all the candidates of the party in the forthcoming general elections.

The party leaders and loyalists across the six Local Government Areas of the Senatorial District who thronged the spacious Methodist Primary School, Okitipupa, for the party campaign rally in the  zone, also welcomed the state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to the venue with pomp and pageantry.

At the well attended rally, some leaders of the party from the senatorial district including the Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu; Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, Professor Dayo Faduyile; and two House of Representatives candidates for Odigbo/Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo and Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituencies, Festus Adefiranye and Donald Ojogo respectively, expressed joy over the huge crowd at the rally.

According to them, the mammoth crowd that attended the rally was a mark of  acceptability of the APC by  the good people of the South.

They expressed confidence that the party will record overwhelming victory in the fast approaching general elections.

The leaders urged their people to massively vote all candidates of the APC at all levels beginning with the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu down to the National and State Assemblies in the state.

On his part, a member of House of Representatives representing Odigbo/Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Federal Constituency, Mayowa Akinfolarin, explained that the massive rally was to show to the whole world that APC is in total control of the Southern Senatorial District and will deliver massive votes come February election.

The Federal lawmaker equally used the opportunity to advise all eligible voters who have not collected their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVCs) to do so before the deadline for collection, saying their PVC is their power.

He explained that all the party leaders will go back home, win their Polling Units, Wards and Local Governments for the party.
