‘Over 4,000 Ondo workers for promotion’

The chairman, Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, Mr Femi Idris has charged workers in the state on the need to reciprocate the kind gesture of the current Government by putting in their best to move the state forward.
The Chairman who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mr Ade Akinbosade gave the charge at the venue of the 2019 promotion interview exercise for the workers of the state in Akure South Local Government Secretariat.
Idris declared that over four thousand workers in the state who are due for promotion were all in the five promotion interview centres of Ikare, Owo, Akure ,Ondo and Okitipupa local governments
He commended the governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who early in the year instructed that this promotion exercise be conducted before the end of the year”.
“Like I said earlier , to whom much is given much is expected, we expect the workers to put in their best in terms of punctuality and right attitude to work that will enhance productivity, those are our expectations from the workers”, he said.
He assured the workers that all the qualified workers will be promoted.
Akure South local government NULGE chairman, Mr Oluwatuyi Olasoji lauded the state government for making workers welfare a priority.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Adeniyi Adefunke, said the day is a double joy for her as she also marked her birthday.
