The Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Owena Press Limited, Mr Kayode Fasua, has emphasised the essence of love, peace, and harmony, describing them as vital virtues for fostering a closer relationship with God and ensuring the efficacy of prayers.

During the company’s New Year prayer meeting held at its premises in Akure, Mr Fasua called for teamwork and collaboration among staff, emphasising that unity was pivotal for the advancement of Owena Press.

He expressed deep gratitude to God for His enduring mercy and faithfulness towards the staff despite the economic challenges confronting the nation.

On the issue of entitlements, Mr Fasua reassured staff of the Ondo State Government’s commitment to the organisation, explaining, “The Ondo State Government has not forgotten Owena Press, but certain things need to be put in place.”

He revealed that management had submitted proposals to relevant authorities, seeking to transform the company into a full-fledged corporation.

The Owena Press Chairman further appreciated the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Wale Akinlosotu, for his unwavering support in achieving the organisation’s goals.

Urging staff to work in harmony, he cautioned against harbouring resentment or forming factions within the company. “Don’t form cliques or label anyone as an enemy,” he advised.

He also disclosed plans to establish an annex office, which he said would create additional opportunities and keep everyone engaged.

The prayer meeting began with sessions of praise and worship, followed by prayers led in both Christian and Muslim traditions.

In her exhortation, Alhaja Fatimah Muraina encouraged staff to obey God’s commandments and avoid actions that fail to honour His glory.

Mrs Afe reiterated the need for unity within Owena Press. “Our shared purpose is to move this company forward, and achieving that requires unity and collaboration,” she said.

“Let us remain cautious in our actions and work together to ensure the company’s growth and success.”
