The remains of Pa Olarewaju Mattew Abegunde, father of Owena Press Limited Staff, Mr Kayode Olarewaju was laid to rest last weekend at his Igogo-Ekiti country home amidst tributes.
Pa Olarewaju was buried after a funeral mass held at St. Joseph Catholic Pro-Cathedral with many dignitaries in attendance.
Delivering his homily, Rv. Fr. John Kenny Oyinkolade said the deceased lived a fulfilled life and charged the children to emulate the virtues of their late father
He said death is inevitable but that Christians should serve God diligently while alive
The cleric charged Christians to always be conscious of heaven in all their dealings so that they will give good account of their lives on the last day.
In his tribute, Mr. Olarewaju Kayode described his late father as strong, giant, very kind, diligent and humble to everyone.
Guests were later treated to a sumptuous meals at Commercial High School, Igogo-Ekiti
