…judiciary rekindles our hope —Council boss

Owo, the hometown of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Tuesday went agog when the news filtered around that the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Akure has reaffirmed the victory of the Governor.
Residents of Owo took to the streets across the ancient town to celebrate the well deserved victory.
The arrival of Governor Akeredolu in the town further ignited the already charged crowd.
At Emure-Ile junction, the people who were already celebrating the victory were excited to receive the Governor who stormed the town unexpectedly.
At the private residence of the Governor in Owo, the jubilant crowd thronged in and rolled out the drums in celebration of the victory.
Speaking with journalists in Owo, the Executive Chairman of Owo Local Government, Chief Adegbegi Samuel, explained that the victory was expected because Governor Akeredolu and his deputy were duly elected by the people of the state having been validly nominated by the APC.
He said the judgement would enable the Governor give his best for the development of the state.
The chairman added that the Tribunal verdict has further rekindled the hope of the masses in the judiciary.
He appreciated God for the victory and thanked the people of the state for their resilience and support for the Governor.
