Renowned Gospel singer, Bisi Alawiye, has described the gruesome massacre of worshippers at St Francis Catholic Church in Owo as a heartbroken scenario for eyes to behold.

The Akure based artiste who is the leader of  Oluwashindara Global Family, spoke with Friday Extravaganza in Akure, the Ondo State capital .

According to her, it was a heartbroken scenario for eyes to behold; the eyes went sore and heart became heavy because the massacre was nefarious and inhuman.

“The perpetrators have done a lot of havoc to the people of Owo, Ondo and to the body of Christ.

“The situation disconcerted the blues of the day and we remain unsatisfied with the unpleasant occurrence.

“Oluwashindara Global Family is deeply sad at this ungodly attack and hereby sympathized with the families who their loved ones went yonder and this has prompted Shindara family to defer her annual family convention which was supposed to come up today, Friday, 10th of June, 2022.

“We wear the badge of love and we believe that injury to one, is injury to all.

“As much as we wanted to converge to fulfill our annual praise mandate, we consider it selfish to loud the music of commemoration when some are in the state of commiseration of their dear ones.

“The new date of the programme will be announced and we however pray that, the families of the deceased will remain strong in Christ, the body of Christ will remain strongly in the love of Abba and the government of our dear state will remain stronger in this moment of befallen storm”, she stated.
