Owo in high spirit over Akeredolu’s visit
Indigenes of Owo in Owo Local Government area of Ond State are in high spirit to welcome the state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as he rounds off his state-wide visit to the ancient town.
Reports reaching The Hope said preparations are in feverish gear as groups, artisans and artistes have been mobilised to welcome the governor.
So excited with the visit are the people that have even gone to buy uniform to welcome the governor, our reporter learnt yesterday.
The Chairman of the Owo branch of the APC, Chief Syndey Ogunleye said party faithfuls were poised to make the visit memorable for the governor whose tenure has brought visible development to the local government.
“Come on Monday and see the elaborate and wonderful reception that awaits Arakunrin”, he assured our reporter.
