Oyebanji approves appointment of 10 new Permanent Secretaries in Ekiti

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has approved the appointment of ten new Permanent Secretaries, in a bid to strengthen the leadership of the State Civil service and reposition it for greater service delivery.

In a statement signed and made available to The Hope by Olayinka Oyebode, Special Adviser (Media) to the governor, the permanent secretaries will be sworn in on Thursday.

The appointment of the Permanent Secretaries followed their success in the highly competitive examination and selection process.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries include Engr. (Dr) S.O. Ibijola, Mr. Olaonipekun Eweje, Dr. Sunday Omoya, Mr. Morakinyo Akilo, Mr. Adelusi Lateef, and Pharm. Ejimokun Peter.

Others are, Mr. Olufemi Adediran, Mr. Ayoola Clement I., Mr. Bayode Lawrence, and Engr. Toyin Ojelabi-Pedro

The swearing-in of the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries has been slated for Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the Conference Hall, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti.
