Oyebanji begins payment of compensation for Ikere-Akure road project

In a major step towards fulfilling his administration’s commitment to fairness and social justice, the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, will today (Monday), officially flag off the payment of compensation to owners of properties affected by the ongoing construction of the Ikere-Akure Road.
This was made known in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Lands, Surveys and eGIS, Professor James Olaleye, and made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti.
According to the statement, the event is scheduled to hold at the Ikere City Hall, Ikere Ekiti, commencing at 11:00 a.m. prompt.
Claimants are advised to attend the ceremony with two copies of their passport photographs, a copy of their National Identity Card, and a valid means of identification for verification of ownership.
The statement further urged all invited guests and property owners to be punctual and be seated ahead of the commencement of the programme, as the government remains committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent compensation process.
