Oyebanji offers to become visiting lecturer at EKSU

…to inspire students

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has expressed interest in becoming a visiting lecturer at Ekiti State University (EKSU), to inspire and motivate students.

The governor made this pledge while hosting the newly elected executive members of the EKSU Alumni Association.

 He emphasised that engaging with students directly would encourage them to dream big and aspire for greater achievements.

Governor Oyebanji acknowledged the significant role played by the alumni in advancing EKSU and assured them of his administration’s commitment to further supporting the university.

He urged the Alumni Association to collaborate with the University Governing Council in implementing reforms that would drive comprehensive development within the institution.

Earlier, the Global President of the Alumni Association, Ambassador Seyi Idowu, revealed plans to construct an Alumni Centre equipped with facilities such as a library, ICT hub and research centres.

Ambassador Idowu also expressed gratitude to Governor Oyebanji for his continued support for EKSU, stressing that the association takes pride in having him as a distinguished member.
