‘Padico’ goes home today

It was tribute galore on Thursday in Owo at the service of songs for oil magnate, Sir Patrick Omotayo Adedapo Aisida (a.k.a. Padico) who passed on a month ago at the age of 75 years in Aberdeen, United Kingdom.

The torrents of tributes from the business community, youths, classmates and friends of the late business icon dripped tears from sympathisers who thronged the Methodist Church, Owo to pay their last respect.

All those who paid tributes described the late Tayo as a great philanthropist who lived for others.

They likened him to a man with a heart of gold within and outside Owo community.

The youths who said he will be remembered as a cultural icon and ambassador of Owo community as he was always in the fore front of creating cultural renaissance for the ancient town.
