The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pamper Petroleum Limited, Mr Olusola Owolanke, has commended the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for giving entrepreneurs in the state the right environment to do business with ease.
Owolanke gave the commendation during the commissioning of a new branch of Pamper filling station along Ijapo road in Akure on Thursday.
Owolanke who was full of joy and appreciation to God said that the project took six months to complete, thanking God for providing sufficient resources to bring the project to conclusion.
While promising the host community to do business responsibly, Owolanke said that the filling station would operate for 24 hours daily, adding that adequate safety measures had been put in place for the benefit of staff and customers.
Guest preacher at the event, Pastor Odunayo Emmanuel from the Living Faith Church, emphasised that great projects begin as ideas, but a lot of ideas end up not seeing the light of the day.
The clergyman who drew his sermon from John chapter three verse 27 described the filling station as a product of an idea that originated from the mind of the CEO, saying that it takes the grace of God to bring such an idea to fruition.
He said, “There are many abandoned projects that would have benefitted the populace if they were completed, but this one did not end up as an abandoned project.
“We dedicate things because we owe our success to God. Dedicating this filling station means that we commit it to God for growth and replication.
“We believe God that as we dedicate this place today, it will be for the profiting of everyone and it will grow.”
After the cutting of the tape by the guest preacher, scores of drivers, motorcyclists and tricycle riders who had been part of the commissioning received several litres of petrol for free.
Highlights of the event included praise sessions and prayers that were led by several men of God in attendance.
