Para Table Tennis competition: Ondo to compete for honour in Lagos, Edo

Month of December 2021 is going to be a busy month for the Ondo State Para Table Tennis as they will travel to Lagos and Edo State to participate in double competitions.
The Ondo State Para Table Tennis representative will depart Sunshine State for Molade Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports hall ,Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere,Lagos on December 13 to participate in the Sunday Olajide Para-Table Tennis Foundation.
The state contingent will face Edo State from Lagos State on 20 to tackle other states at the second edition of the Dr. Charles Osazuwa Table Tennis Festival in Benin City.
The Edo Table Tennis Festival will be held at the Edo State Sports Council, sports hall between 21 to 28 December.
In a chat with Sporting Hope, the Ondo State Para Table Tennis coach, Mr Gboye Omodojo appealed to government to support them by make funds available for the double yuletide’s trip.
He said ;”On our part, we are going to be good ambassadors of the state and ensure we raise the state’s flag high by not be a partaker in the competitions but contender for glory.
“We want the state government to provide for us, training equipment, as at today; we don’t have table, no training hall, despite that we have been trying our best to win at every competition for the state”.he said .
