The All Progressive Congress Chairman in Owo Local Government, Chief Sydney Ogunleye had said the party is prepared for the House of Assembly election this Saturday, judging from the fact that they were taken unaware in the last presidential election.
He said the loss of APC during the Presidential election in the state has made every party member to swing into action by engaging in door -to -door campaign so that the party could be victorious come Saturday.
Ogunleye said APC was caught unaware because they thought PDP had gone into oblivion except for the surprise at the poll, this he said had made them to be more prepared than ever .
“I can assure you come Saturday out of the 26 APC candidates for Ondo State house of Assembly, APC will win 22, he boasted”.
A Member of the Opposition PDP in Owo, Nasirudeen Boboye Ijawoye while thanking the people of Owo for their resilience in ensuring success was recorded at last Saturday presidential election in the State, said this is a sign of good things to come to Ondo State.
