Partner donor agencies for excellence, ODHA tasks OSUSTECH

The Chairman, house committee on tertiary institutions, Mr Felemugudu Bankole has charged the management of Ondo State University of Science and Technology OSUSTECH to partner more with donor agencies for optimal performance and improved academic excellence.
He gave the charge during a familiarization visit by the house committee on tertiary institutions to the university in okitipupa council area of Ondo state.
He noted that the familiarization visit to the institution became imperative by the committee train to seek ways both parties can work hand in glove for the development of the institution OSUSTECH.
The Chairman expressed his delight over the construction of some ongoing building projects for teaching and learning process in the institution.
He however charged the management of the institution to collaborate more with donor agencies and corporate bodies to drive home the desired results in terms of academic excellence and quality education for the students.
The Vice Chancellor of OSUSTECH, Professor Robert Ogunduyile who thanked the team for their visit noted that it will go a long way to strengthen the cordial relationship between the house and the institution.
Prof ogunduyile who thanked Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for prompt release of funds to the university noted that the management of the institution will continue to do its best in enduring that quality education is delivered to the students in every aspect of their careers.
Later, the team moved to the local govt universal basic education board on behalf of the speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun to commiserate with NUT and SUBEB family over the untimely death of nine primary school teachers from Okitipupa Local Government Area in a motor accident.
The lawmakers who expressed with deep shock over the incident consoled the bereaved families and prayed for them fortified to bear the loss.
