The Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS) has called on property owners in the state to fulfill their obligations by paying up their respective annual Land Use Charge
The Executive Chairman of the agency, Mr Tolu Adegbie made this call during the April edition of the agency’s monthly prayer session held at the office headquarters, Revenue House in Akure.
Represented by the Director of Finance and Account, Mr Olusanya Adedipe, Adegbie posited that to promote a viable and seamless relationship with tax payers, that the agency has printed all year 2023 Land Use Charge bills for all the properties in Ondo state and distribution has commenced accordingly.
He therefore urged all residents in the state to cooperate with the Land Use Charge officers when these bills are being distributed to every door step and make their annual payment accordingly through the agency’s various payment channels without delay.
Adegbie equally charged members of staff to be more focus, dedicated and always be champions in discharging their duties towards achieving its set target for the year 2023.
According to the ODIRS boss, the ICT department has achieved an enviable result in the first quarter of the year through resilience and hard work.
He urged every member of staff of the agency to follow the laid example and work hard towards becoming a champion in their various departments.
In his exhortation, Pastor Lawrence Ojowi admonished the staff on the topic “The Significance of Easter ” , while the ODIRS choir gave a beautiful rendition titled “Just as I am” led by the Director, Personal Income Tax, Mr. Segun Enikuomehin who is also the Director of Music for the choir.
