The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the candidates running for different positions ahead of the next elections.
Among the notable individuals that made the FIFA Elective Council final list is Amaju Melvin Pinnick, the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Among the other contenders for the FIFA Elective Council are Andrew Kamanga from Zambia, Augustin Senghor from Senegal and Fouzi Lekja from Morocco.
FECAFOOT president Samuel Eto’o, however, was conspicuously missing from the list.
The Cameroonian football great had previously indicated interest in standing for the role of CAF president, alongside incumbent Patrice Motsepe.
