Nigeria Premier Football League side, Plateau Utd has debunked a social media report that their players were placed on half salaries based on their poor performance.

According to Plateau United General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla he vehemently debunked the claim saying: “We’re aware that performance has to improve and we have laid down certain internal measures to enhance performance and not by slashing  players salaries.

“Hence, we would seek the services of the law enforcement  agencies to immediately invite the sources of this divisive story for further questioning and verification.”

He further added that the story is completely false and not in conformity with the current reality in the team and assured that details of further actions will be made available to the media.
