Play game according to rule— Ondo NUJ urges politicians

As the governorship primary elections of the political parties hold next month , the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State council,has enjoined political gladiators to play the game according to the rules,just as it noted that no human blood is worth sacrificing for the sake of any election.
This was contained in the union’s communique issued after its monthly congress held in Akure.
In the communigue, the union noted with emphasis the upcoming November 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo state and praised the maturity displayed so far by political gladiators.
It stated that activities of quackery in journalism came under scrutiny and the Congress advised quacks/unaccredited journalists to stay away from Ondo State especially during the forthcoming governorship primaries in April and the election on November 16.
The congress warned that the NUJ Taskforce Against fake journalists is still intact and anyone caught in the act will be dealt with accordingly by authorities.
The Congress expressed happiness over various training opportunities for journalists ahead of the governorship election in the state and urged qualified members to always apply for such trainings to boost their professional capacity.
