The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a suspected ritualist, Busayo Funmilade, who allegedly used his wife’s personal belongings for rituals.

The Hope Metro gathered that the 27-years -old victim, Ayoola Funmilade, suddenly noticed her personal things like her panties, bathing sponge as well  as covering cloth, gradually started missing in the house.

Ayoola, who resides at  at No 37b Orita Obele Estate Akure Ondo State, was said to have started feeling very ill, and reportedly informed her husband who felt unperturbed.

It was learnt that when the condition of the victim began to depreciate, her husband abandoned her at home and left her for a very long time, before the family of the victim, who smelt a rat, pointed accusing fingers at the suspect and effected his arrest.

The Hope Metro authoritatively gathered that Busayo has since confessed that he had used his wife for ritual, which led to her being seriously ill.

Police sources disclosed that the suspect revealed that one Baba Ojo, who was an herbalist in Ijare, assisted him, but unfortunately he died in January, this year.

The suspect is now cooling his feet at the State police headquarters, along Igbatoro, Akure, while investigation is going on.
