Politicians caution against violence

The Chief Imam of Ikareland, Sheik Abbas Abubakar Mohammed has cautioned politicians against violence to achieve their goals and objectives.
Sheikh Abbas gave the caution while speaking with The Muslim community in Ikare Akoko.
The cleric said it was imperative to give this warning as gubernatorial elections in Edo and Ondo state are very close.
The Chief Imam reminded Nigerians that there is nothing to be compared with peace.
He called on politicians to call their supporters to order while parents must also monitor their wards against involvement in thuggery and other undemocratic acts before during and after elections.
Sheikh Abbas who is also the Chairman of Leagues of Imams and Alfas in Akokoland urged Muslims and non Muslims to cater for orphans and protect their rights.
He appealed to Nigerians not to forget and abandon the precautionary measures on COVID-19 and also pray fervently in order to curb the pandemic and other diseases globally.
