Nigerians have been charged to judiciously exercise their civic responsibility by electing leaders who will entrench good governance in the nation on Saturday.

This charge was given by the Catholic Bishop of Ondo Diocese, Most Reverend Jude Arogundade who advised Nigerians to elect leaders that will better the lot of the masses.

Bishop Arogundade stated this while addressing the pilgrims at the weekend at the annual Oke Maria National Pilgrimage in Oka Akoko, Ondo State.

The 2019 Oke Maria Pilgrimage according to him, is unique because of the issues that are at stake in the country, especially at this time when the citizens are faced with the responsibility of choosing civil leaders.

He noted that the nation is on the verge of so many dangers that must be changed and matched with faith, courage and truth.

He therefore called for prayers, for God to intervene and help the electorate choose people who will strive and work for good governance and for the common good of the country.
