Popular Lagos-based comic singer, Mukaila Senwele dead

Mukaila Senwele, a Lagos-based comic musician celebrated for his catchphrase “Koni da fun ebo to se Costay,” has passed away.
The artist, originally from Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, died on Friday night, a family source confirmed.
Senwele’s distinctive performances and entertainment style had earned him considerable admiration, particularly among socialites.
A family member disclosed that the singer showed no signs of ill health prior to his unexpected passing.
“There was no indication of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the evening,” the source said.
It was reported that the family received an emergency call from the location where Senwele had been with fans.
“Upon arrival, my elder brother (name withheld) and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death,” the source revealed.
