Pray for Tinubu’s success, Akeredolu urges religious bodies

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has again appealed to religious orgainsations to be steadfast in their prayers for the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to succeed as the president of the country in the interest of all.

Akeredolu made the call at a thanksgiving service to mark the 10th anniversary of Soul Winning Spiritual Evangelical Church, Akure.

Governor Akeredolu noted that many leaders fail because they get overwhelmed by the challenges that confront them which are oftentimes unexpected.

Represented by his Deputy, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Governor sought the continuous prayers of Nigerians that the president-elect should be surrounded by people who have the interest of the country  at heart.

Akeredolu assured that Tinubu has a lot of good plans for Nigerians.

The founder of the Church, and Speaker, Ondo state House of Assembly, Bamidele Oleyelogun appreciated God for His mercy and for using him as His instrument.

While thanking God for the grace to lead the 9th Assembly, he charged the incoming 10th assembly to consolidate on the achievements of the 9th assembly.

Oleyelogun commended  Akeredolu for his leadership style, noting that the Governor has proven that governance can be done with the fear of God and for the advancement of humanity.

Members of the  State House of Assembly and traditional rulers among other dignitaries graced the event.
