    Prayer is an act of communicating with God. What this text  emphasized  to us  is that we should  be praying  all the time,  because if we  cease to pray, we  will be disconnected from God  and if we do that, we are on our own.

It is very important to pray continually  and earnestly without ceasing. It is encouraging  to persist in prayers. The Bible says in 1 Peter 4 vs 7-8 “casting  all your care upon him, for  he cared for you”.

Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil as a roaring  lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour.

The devil is after  christians but thank  God for this weapon  of prayer that we  have, to  bulldoze the devil and the agents.

This text  admonished us to pray in the  morning, afternoon, evening, at night, pray  even when you are happy,  sad and never  stop to pray.
