Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has directed Professor Adolphus Loto to take charge of the administration of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, pending the assumption of office by the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebunoluwa Adejuyigbe.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Loto, resumed office today, March 10, 2025.

This development followed the expiration of the tenure of the second substantive Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Adesegun Fatusi, on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

Professor Loto studied Dentistry at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, and specializes in Restorative Dentistry.

He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) and also a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
