Prof Mekusi celebrates @ 50
All roads lead to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State on September 22 for a colloquium in commemoration of the 50th birthday of Busuyi Mekusi, a Professor of African Literature, in the Department of English Studies, AAUA.
Members of the academic community from the globe and the general public are expected to grace the event which will hold at the Nelson Mandela Hall, AAUA by 9.00am.
The colloquium is titled; Politics, Aesthetics, and New Directions in African Literature, and will be delivered by Professor Senayon Olaoluwa of Centre for African Studies, University of Ibadan.
According to the Local Organizing Committee, the Keynote Speaker will be convened under the chairmanship of Prince Peters Adeniyi Adeyemi, General Secretary (NASU); Vice President (NLC); Vice President (Public Services International (PSI), Global; President (PSI, Africa and Asia), with Professor Olugbenga Ige, Vice Chancellor, AAUA.
Also, the Chief Host and Special Guests of Honour are Sir Charles Titiloye, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Ondo State, and Professor Edward Olanipekun, Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.
