Promote school sports, govt urged

In a bid to build a future football stars government at all levels have been urged to promote school sports.

The chairman of the Ondo Boys High school (OBHS) Centenary Anniversary committee, Pastor khalil Akinboboye stated this during the novelty football match between the Old students and the school team which took place at Ondo City Sport Stadium.

The novelty match ended 2-1 in favour of the Old Students

Akinboboye,  advised government to develop recreation centers in schools so as to help students develop their skills in sports majorly along with other fields.

On his part, the President General of the Old Students Association, Elder Yemisi Lofinmakin advised the young ones to refrain from imbibing the foreign values and neglecting their cultural value.

He enjoined parents to support their children in developing their talents for better productivity in Nigeria.
