Ondo State Contributory Health Commission (ODCHC) has reiterated its commitment towards ensuring that qualitative healthcare is accessible to all and sundry in the state.

Director General, ODCHC, Dr. Abiodun Oyeneyin spoke during the first prayer meeting of the year held at the Commission’s premises in Akure.

Oyeneyin, while ascribing the success of the outgone year to God, appreciated the Governor of the State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu  for supporting the mandate of the commission by providing enabling environment and resources for the commission to operate.

Eulogising leaders in the health sector, he gave kudos to the formidable team of ODCHC for giving their all in terms of service delivery stating that access to care has commenced in various facilities on the Orange Health Insurance Scheme, ORANGHIS, which was flagged off in September 2022.

The DG who also lauded the Akeredolu led administration for shouldering 60 percent of the premium which makes the scheme easy and pocket friendly for public servants to key into, appreciated the leadership of the Labour Unions for their support and cooperation in making the scheme a seamless one.

He however enjoined public servants who are yet to complete their registration forms to do so as the next batch of enrollment commences soon.

Also speaking, Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, Prof. Francis Faduyile, reiterated that government is committed to functional and qualitative health care delivery, stating that all hands must be on deck to make the new year better than the last in terms of service delivery.

Prof. Faduyile encouraged the staff to dream big, saying “we must not limit our vision in order to achieve our mission”.
