Ramadan: Okitipupa LG Chairman calls for unity, prayers, kindness

The Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Andrew Ogunsakin, has urged Muslim faithful to embrace unity, fervent prayers, and acts of kindness during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tosin Ayejusunle, Ogunsakin described Ramadan as a period of devotion, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal.
“I encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters to pray for our community and promote unity and love among all,” he stated.
Expressing gratitude to Almighty God for the privilege of witnessing another Ramadan, Ogunsakin prayed for peace, prosperity, and abundant blessings for all residents of Okitipupa Local Government.
He reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to good governance and developmental initiatives, assuring residents of ongoing efforts to enhance their quality of life.
Emphasising the importance of cooperation and harmony, he called on residents to work together towards building a stronger and more prosperous Okitipupa.
Ogunsakin also extended his best wishes for a fulfilling and spiritually uplifting Ramadan, alongside a blessed new month.
