Ramadan: Ondo CP deploys security personnel for peaceful celebrations

The Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command, CP Wilfred Afolabi, has ordered the deployment of security personnel across the state to ensure a peaceful and secure Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
In a statement, the CP felicitated Muslim faithful and prayed that Almighty Allah accepts their fasting and supplications. He reaffirmed the command’s commitment to maintaining law and order during the festivities.
As part of strategic security measures, Afolabi directed the deployment of officers at prayer grounds, major roads, and other key locations to prevent any breach of peace. He further urged parents and guardians to closely monitor their children, particularly minors, to prevent cases of missing persons.
The command also assured commuters of enhanced security arrangements along highways and border areas, with officers stationed to facilitate smooth movement and prevent potential threats.
Residents were advised to remain vigilant and cooperate with security operatives by reporting any suspicious activities. The CP reiterated the command’s unwavering dedication to safeguarding lives and property throughout the festive period.
