Recruitment: Ondo SUBEB conducts CBT May 14

Ondo State Government is set to conduct a 10-minute Computer Based Test (CBT) for applicants seeking teaching jobs in the public primary schools across the state.
According to a statement issued by the State Universal Basic Education Board Director of Information and Public Relations, Prince Bolu Diesel Ajijo, the computer based test will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, between 8:00a.m and 6:00p.m.
This, according to the board is aimed at providing quality education in the public primary schools by recruiting highly skilled professionals.
The Executive Chairman of the Board, Victor Olabimtan, described the recruitment exercise as a replacement initiative for teachers who have been transferred or retired from rural and hard-to-reach areas of the state.
With over 31,000 qualified applicants vying for 2,000 teaching vacancies, the CBT is designed to identify the best candidates for the positions.
Permanent Secretary, Mr Dele Akinnagbe, urged the applicants to prepare thoroughly for the CBT, as there will be no room for favoritism or shortcuts in the recruitment process.
To ensure a hitch free exercise, applicants will receive bulk SMS detailing the official domain of the portals for the CBT few hours before the commencement of the examination.
There will be two different portals for the examination, one for NCE holders and the other for Degree holders.
