The Ondo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has scheduled screening interviews for applicants for the 1,000 teaching jobs into secondary schools in the state.

Recall Ondo TESCOM began the recruitment of 1,000 teachers into secondary schools in the state in April.

An online-based test was conducted for applicants on Thursday and Friday, May 23rd and 24th, 2024.

The three-day screening exercise will begin on Thursday August 15 and end on Monday August 19, 2024.

Day one of the exercise is scheduled to hold in Akure Zone, comprising Akure South, Akure North, Idanre and Ifedore; and Ondo Zone comprising Ondo West, Ondo East, Ileoluji Oke-Igbo LGAs.

The exercise will be held at Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School Akure for Akure Zone and St Monica’s Girls Grammar School for Ondo Zone.

Day 2 is scheduled for Akoko and Owo Zones at Victory College Ikare and Imade College, Owo respectively.

Day 3 is scheduled for Okitipupa Zone
